New Jersey

Bills to license dietitians have been introduced in the form of A1820 and S1318. Some provisions in these bills would effectively hamper the ability of any nutrition professional who is not a registered dietitian. We are in conversations to improve these bills to create a level playing field in the nutrition industry. Any bill that moves must provide a licensure path for highly qualified nutrition care providers and ensure that all providers are free to practice to the level of their training.

CURRENT LAW
